Senegal signs offshore study deal with Italy's Eni
Senegal has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian energy giant ENI to evaluate five offshore blocks, the country’s energy minister announced on Tuesday.
Senegal has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italy's Eni to evaluate five offshore blocks, extending the company's existing presence in the country's upstream sector. The agreement is exploratory in nature, so any commercial production or fiscal terms remain contingent on the outcome of the studies.
