An International Chamber of Commerce arbitration tribunal in Paris ruled in favour of Nigeria, rejecting claims worth about $3.38 billion brought by Sunrise Power and Transmission Company Ltd over the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project in Taraba State. The dispute concerned the long-planned hydropower project, and the ruling removes the financial claims against the Nigerian government.
