Guinea banned France 24 and withdrew the accreditation of Jeune Afrique's Guinea correspondent, Diawo Barry, after a France 24 presenter referred to President Mamadi Doumbouya as a "putschist president." The Committee to Protect Journalists has called on Guinean authorities to reverse both actions.
